Psalm 33

1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

leszegett fejjel merengsz.
Lelkeden hegetlen sebek,
tested jeges verem,
elvesztegetett kegyelmek szent helye.
Terhes e jelen,
kegyetlen keresztek erdeje,

Szavakkal krédóm el nem mondhatom.
Hogyan írhatnám le félelmeim,
örömem,bánatom,
ámulatom,haragom,bizonyosságom
és hitetlenségem?

Hogy sűrítsem mondatokba
álmatlan éjszakáim?
Ki legyen az alany,
és ki a tárgy?
Ha távol marad egy Barát,
majd ismét felbukkan váratlanul
-megkésett pirkadat,
felhők közül vakító napsugár?
Miért talállak ott a titkos,néma helyeken,
hová örök szavad elől rejtőzöm?
Gyűlöllek,imádlak,akarlak és várlak,
s néha azt kívánom,
bárcsak elhagynál!
Mégis,tudom,réges-régen
tündérmesét fűztél nekem egy napról,
mikor éles kardod előhúzod,
s leszabdalod a rám forrt vastag páncélt.
Életet csókolsz belém,akár a mesebeli herceg,
és egy csipkerózsika életre kel.
Amikor megébredek,
szívembe nézve mindent megértek,
ott megszűnik némaságom és
krédóm végre szavakkal is elmondhatom.
